Meet the newest member of our family, Aimee's new look-a-like American Doll. Aimee named her Bethany Chan Masterson. She's got light brown hair, blue eyes, and freckles, just like Aimee. She bought her with her Christmas money and she came in this week. If you're not familiar with American Girl dolls, there's a whole world out there (and it's not cheap). We were glad to see Aimee and Bethany. Jaimee thinks they look alike. She has an American Girl doll too.
There is a resemblance, but Aimee's eyes are more blue-green and she's missing her top front tootth. I saw in the American Girl Doll catalog that you can buy fake braces for your doll; maybe a temporary toothless paste-on would be a good idea.
Something else, If you ever could come and visit us (hint, hint) there's a new American Girl Place opening in Los Angeles this Spring. Aimee is very excited about visiting it; maybe Jaimee would like to take her doll to the hair stylist?
