Wow! That is really, really high. I will go tell my husband so he feels better about our bill. :-)
We received our oil bill a couple weeks ago so we could prepay for the winter. Once he realized it was going to cost us $2000 to heat our moderate sized home for the winter, my husband went out and bought electric heaters and said we will not use oil this year (except for our hot water). I never thought I'd see the day when electricity was cheaper than oil.
Thanks for stopping by Jeannine. Thankfully the weather has cooled considerably and we haven't had to run the air conditioner for a week now. That should help bring the bill down for next month.

I love to read. I aspire to be a life-long learner, and I really, really want to impart, first of all unfeigned faith, and second, a love of learning, to my children.

You have no idea how happy I am that I came back from San Jose to "June Gloom." Maybe we can make up some of that $$ this month.
I sure hope so! It's so nice to not have to run the air all the time. Welcome back.
