I did something I've never done before. I ordered a book from amazon.uk: "Amo, Amas, Amat And All That - How To Become A Latin Lover" by Harry Mount. It's available in the UK and not yet from Amazon US.
I got a confirmation email that it was "dispatched" and is on its way.

We order stuff from Amazon.co.uk all the time - mostly DVD's of TV shows that haven't aired here yet (you need a multi-region DVD player for that). BBC America is getting better about airing stuff here more promptly, but there are still lots of shows that no one in the States gets to see.
